Gigi é uma jovem que é explorada e enganada por todos: o seu patrão no restaurante, a sua mãe e o seu namorado. Cansada de tudo, ela aceita entrar para uma Academia de Vilões, que ela acessa através de uma televisão que ela ganhou em um sorteio. Lá ela aprende o necessário para se vingar de todos. Aproveitando do estereótipo da vilã de novelas, nós temos aqui um filme que resolve brincar com isso. E se as vilãs começassem a ensinar outras pessoas a cometer maldades? Eugene Domingo está perfeita como vilã mor da história. Porém, acho que faltou algo para que o filme pudesse se destacar ainda mais.

It was hilarious from start to finish! Not perfect, but still a really great film. I’d definitely watch it again and recommend it to my friends. The script was so cleverly written! The whole cast and the director were amazing—especially Barbie and Eugene. I’d honestly love to watch it again just to see how they dubbed it in English. I’m sure a lot of cultural references got lost in translation, so I think Filipinos who are familiar with teleseryes will enjoy it the most. But even foreigners would still find it funny, because there are plenty of scenes that will make you laugh no matter what language you speak or what country you grew up in. The humor in this film truly transcends language and cultural barriers.

It was awesome, dude. The actors/actresses did a great job with their acting and I love how comedic it is at the same time. I was able to relate myself with how Gigi was bombarded with different responsibilities and problems with her environment and I was definitely rooting for her! Not just because she got her revenge, but because she stood up for herself, and accepted change to people that wronged her. Because people shouldn't be limited to one classification or trait. People are more than this. People are complex, and this is what I think is the beauty of this movie. The "revolution" that Gigi made proved that change is possible anytime as long as we take action. Nothing is ever stagnant in this world. Even if the representation doesn't seem super out of this world, it's IN this world. These are things we can relate, not just Filipinos, but also humans. It's simplicity itself is its beauty! To know that a small change can give it's chain reactions. So yeah, it was awesome. Watch it, peeps.
