BTW, this movie isn't good. the original knight rider was a fun kids show with (at the time) a very cool-looking super powered car. it's been rebooted three times, but never with the charm of the original, which i believe was mainly from the sense of camaraderie between the main character and the friendly AI - voiced by william daniels from st elsewhere & boy meets world. in this (the first reboot attempt), the car was intended to be the very cool-looking two toned pontiac banshee IV concept car, but they were denied use by GM for this pilot. (GM allowed it to be used in feature films.) unfortunately, that meant that this knight rider reboot ended up with a dodge stealth with a ''banshee-esque'' custom body shell, that never looked right.

re: ''like the Hoff... was ok at the time but it hasn't aged at all well'' - really? i don't see that. he's essentially retired since he stopped being a judge on AGT, but he's in his 70s. retirement is normal. he seems very fit for his age and has a nine figure net worth because he self-financed the syndicated version of baywatch when the networks didn't want it. if that's aging badly, i hope i age badly too.
