I’ve watched a lot of "comedy" specials in

I’ve watched a lot of "comedy" specials in my life, but this Netflix Kill Tony special might be the most cringeworthy one yet. The entire production reeks of desperation and narcissistic energy that dominates a stage full of performers who clearly have no idea how to land a joke. Every set is overpraised to the point of absurdity. The constant reminders that they’re on Netflix only make it worse, as if the platform itself is supposed to make bad jokes land. Watching performers repeat the same bits was uncomfortable to the point of grotesque. Even seasoned comics like Roseanne couldn’t save the awkward pacing at the start. This isn’t comedy. It was a showcase of ego, forced performance, and the illusion of talent. I don’t know who this special is for, but if you want to cringe for two hours, it’s for you. Don’t keep watching like I did hoping it would get better.
