Plot summary

It is the year 2027, eight years after the first outbreak of The Sickness, a highly contagious, adaptive and lethal virus. The world is now run by a pharmaceutical corporation called The Company, which distributes a treatment for the virus but charges a high price for it, putting the majority of people in a state of poverty and dependence.

The whole plot: One of the good guys

The whole plot: One of the good guys could kill all the bad guys in one second, but movie goes on for 100 minutes (and for no reason) despite this. You hope 'til the end you missed something, you think COME ON, must be a "revelation" at a certain point to justify 1 hour and 40 minutes of relentless gun/punch fight with a boring chase in the middle... but no, the movie makes no sense, period. It's only pew pew wroom wrooom smash pew pew smash.

This movie made no sense and the end

This movie made no sense and the end is just a stretched out action sequence that needed to be half as long. I'd say the sequence should also have something to do with the story, but unfortunately there isn't one. Maybe you'd like it if you enjoy watching teenagers LARPing.

Kill Mode sucked. Plain and simple. The CGI

Kill Mode sucked. Plain and simple. The CGI was so obvious it pulled me out of the movie every time — like, you could see the budget trying to stretch and failing. The acting? Bad. Like high school drama club bad. You could tell there was a cool concept buried in there somewhere, but something clearly went off the rails between budgeting and directing. It had potential, and that’s what makes it even more frustrating. But in the end, it just didn’t deliver. Felt more like a cheap sci-fi YouTube series than a real movie.
