This film is fascinating because it presents a group of people who have suffered loss of family, of honor, self-defeated economically, in short, a carnival of pathetic losers trying to survive emotionally on the sidelines of an expressway. However, the film is not depressing or sad and achieves some beautiful shots thanks to color and photographic sensitivity. The film has a beautiful unpredictable ending that confirms human solidarity even in the worst social and emotional circumstances. Thank you Freeman for this excellent film.
