Plot summary

Ko, a motorbike enthusiast from the city wandering the Japanese countryside, falls for the carefree local Miyo and teaches her how to ride. When Miyo proves herself a biker prodigy, Ko begins to fear she's destined to crash.

This story is a memory.

This is not just a glimpse into the main character's life, but a vivid snapshot of Japanese youth subculture during that era. It pulls back the curtain to a distant memory of a generation, showcasing the raw energy of biker gangs, baitos (part-time jobs), and various forms of counter-culture.The narrative itself unfolds with an interesting nature of a recollection, much like a story told by an ojisan (old man) looking back on his younger days. It is imaginative, graphic, and sometimes vividly pointless. A story held onto for years, not because of its rational sense, but because of the intensity of the emotions it invoked.

Unexplainable feeling

From the moment you set eyes on this movie you know it is going to be something special. If I had to explain this movie I would say it is a biker romance, but if I had to explain the feeling this movie gives I could not do it in a million years. Such a nice love story between two regular people that completely keeps your eyes and your heart glued to the screen. The characters are relatable and have their own rules in life and that makes them have to constantly fight between the person who they are and the person the want to be. You can instantly fall in love with the vibe of this movie and the whole biker feel. The feeling it gives you is overwhelming. A masterpiece.
