Plot summary

On-call substitute doctor Shugo suddenly finds himself faced with a terrifying criminal in a clown mask. The assailant demands that Shugo treat injured high school student Hitomi. The perpetrator sets siege to the building and Shugo finds himself confined with 64 unknown patients.

Cramp

Hisashi Kimura's Japanese suspense thriller is a cramped and frightening experience that takes place almost exclusively in a hospital. The film maintains an engrossing mood with its cramped setting, fast pacing, and rising stakes, even though it occasionally falls back on well-known thriller tropes. This film, which is anchored by Kentaro Sakaguchi's gripping performance, keeps viewers interested with twists that successfully strike a disturbing balance between crime mystery and medical drama.
