Plot summary

The world is under attack by an alien armada led by the powerful Apokoliptian, Darkseid. A group of superheroes consisting of Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Green Lantern, Cyborg, and Shazam must set aside their differences and gather together to defend Earth.

Justice League: War is an animated film that

Justice League: War is an animated film that entertains, but falls short in its narrative. The animation presents several narrative problems. The story is short and fast-paced, which prevents significant development of both the plot and the characters. Despite this, all characters have well-defined personalities: some more arrogant, others more level-headed, and some who function solely as comic relief. Shazam, for example, ends up fulfilling only this role, but in a rather ineffective way, becoming a very irritating and uninteresting character. Darkseid, on the other hand, works very well as a villain. He intimidates through his presence and is presented as a real threat. Fortunately, the heroes function very well as a team, and the cooperative dynamic between them is well utilized. The film delivers good action scenes, animation that is visually superior to its predecessor, and a story that, even though simple, manages to keep the viewer engaged until the end.

Fast thrilling ride through the DC Universe, The action is nonstop, the heroes are fun to watch, and the animation holds up well.While a few characters don’t get much depth, the movie moves at such a good pace that you barely notice. For fans of superhero action, it’s a solid watch.
