Plot summary

The human race is threatened by a powerful creature, and only the combined power of Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Martian Manhunter and The Flash can stop it. But can they overcome their differences to thwart this enemy using the combined strength of their newly formed Justice League?

This is a pretty good movie. But it's not perfect. Firstly, I love the period piece element of it. Having the movie be set in the 50s adds a unique flavor to the movie and helps it stand out. I thought the animation was good and on par with the other DC Universe animated movies I've watched so far. One thing that really surprised me was how gory and violent this movie was. The amount of bloody kills and blood splatters was insane! If this movie was live action, it'd be R for sure. I also thought that the voice acting was good. Maybe not as good as other DC animated movies but still very good. But I have 2 big complaints: the first of which is the pacing. This movie is SO SLOW!! There were so many exposition dumps and vague teases about the threat we're facing that I was getting a little bored. Pair those with slow character introductions and slow origin stories and I was fighting sleep! I guess it’s still worth watching if you’re a DC Fan, but it is not great in my opinion.

Not only is this the greatest superhero animated

Not only is this the greatest superhero animated movie, this is the greatest animated movie period. It has the feel of a great summer blockbuster while also being insightful and thought provoking and most of all, respectful to teh source material. The voice casting was excellent and Lucy Lawless nailed it as WOnder WOman.
