Plot summary

In the slums of Dublin during the Irish Civil War, the Boyle family’s fragile stability collapses after news of an unexpected inheritance lures them into a false sense of prosperity. Captain Boyle, a boastful idler, squanders their meager resources, while his wife Juno holds the household together. When the fortune proves illusory, the family faces ruin, betrayal, and tragedy.

This is by far the worst Hitchcock movie

This is by far the worst Hitchcock movie I've ever seen. It's more like a play than a movie. Some of the shots cut off the actors heads. The sound is terrible and if it wasn't for the subtitles I wouldn't know what they were saying. Tim Treakle

“Juno and the Paycock” This film starring Sarah algood and Edward Chapman one of the earliest known Hitchcock movies that was a talkie. This particular film it's not very good quality that are probably only gonna give it five stars. However I’m on a mission to watch as many of the available Alfred Hitchcock movies that I can watch. After all he is a renowned director and producer of both silent movies and talkie movies. In somewhat of an actor he appears in many of his films but this one here just not all that good
