Reminiscing about old TV shows I watched when

Reminiscing about old TV shows I watched when I was in school in the 90's I recalled a Journey to the Center of the Earth-ish one. A little research later and I was in front of the television armed with a bowl of popcorn ready to relive my childhood adventures. Twenty minutes later I was wondering if my parents only allowed me to watch one movie a year, is that why I enjoyed this film? The acting was horrible, the story line blah, effects weren't bad for a 70's film but this was done in the 90's. I decided to continue the trek (i.e. I still had snacks). There was a yeti, an actual yeti, at the center of the earth. Somehow a writer of this show thought it would be a good idea to take a mythical monster renowned for its alpine prowess and place it at the center of the earth. Oh and they called it 'Dallas'... Would not recommend.

What a crappy version of a great story

What a crappy version of a great story. The modern day setting doesn't work, the acting is poor and the special effects are surprisingly awful. Bad score, bad everything.
