Plot summary
Nina, a young and headstrong exotic dancer, finds herself stranded in the far North. She convinces her recent customers, five men on a bachelor hunting trip, to put her up for a few days. In this masculine microsociety, by turns hilarious and philosophical, Cynthia starts to feel a sense of belonging she never has before. But a mysterious stranger’s arrival changes the course of this improvised holiday forever. Both raw and dreamlike, Hunting Daze offers up a unique universe where humour, horror, the uncanny, and the sensual combine.

Quebec you can do better.. you must. This was a painful 5 minute watch before inevitably giving up. Who even subventions this stuff :$ I will never know if it gets better passed the start... it's so pretentious and arrogant and badly acted / directed from the start, no chance to sooth into it. Awful.
Dont waste your time
waste time ........
Screenplay, directing, filming and acting was very far beyond my expectations. A very impressive first feature film. Canada, including Quebec needs a lot of attention in film making. Imaginations values more than millions of dollars in special effects ?

This was really good if you like indie cinema and are interested in what's coming out of Quebec. I thought it was really well done, with one unexpected twist after another. There were a couple of surrealist dream sequences that contained symbolism and foreshadowing. If you need action and explosions this isn't for you. It's a very emotional film that will make you think and question your own values.
