The series really should have finished here and in my eyes it did. This is a quality ending to the trilogy (the least said about Grudge Song the better) it is also probably the nastiest of the Scorpion films. The opening scene on the subway sets the tone. The revenge is so sweet and the ending is immense. Shame they tarnished its legacy by making a fourth, thankfully Shunya Ito wasn't involved in it.

I know this is the third, and having not seen the second I was a bit lost. It's not too difficult to follow, but there were some things I had to figure out on my own. It doesn't quite have the visual flare of the first movie (though it has its moments) and the story isn't as interesting. Scorpion got her revenge in the first movie, and here it feels like things are just happening to happen. It's okay, but not as good as the first.

Beast Stable, the third installment in the Female

Beast Stable, the third installment in the Female Prisoner Scorpion series, delivers some fine exploitation ideas, but has about two too many incest scenes. It is the most disturbing film in the series, without being as gratuitous. The plot could have used a little more direction, as most of the second act feels aimless. Awesome grand finale, though.
