Plot summary

This movie got surprisingly emotional towards the end

This movie got surprisingly emotional towards the end and I even cried when Joseph and his brothers finally got together towards the end. I have watched ‘The Prince of Egypt’ previously and I expected something similar, with obvious connections to God. But I did not expect this movie to be more emotionally-based, with the only connection to God being his interpretation of dreams. But I enjoyed it, especially the emotional highs he experienced, from when his brothers betrayed him, the queen betraying him too, but yet he always had people supporting him, and his attitude was always positive in these lows. Only at the end, when he finally met face to face with his brothers, did his long-buried anger finally burst forth. But even though he was irrational and furious, he still was able to came to terms with his brothers when he realized that they were sorry. Huge character growth moment! I was very satisfied watching this movie and I enjoyed it greatly!

Going to keep this short. Second ever review

Going to keep this short. Second ever review and I think it shines the most at the end. Not to say the first half was bad but it could probably have felt more natural. Still a good watch would recommend.

I love this movie so much as a

I love this movie so much as a child and it helped me survive some of my worst situations by reminding me that my attitude is the only thing I can control. Ironically I am atheist now and I still wanted to rate this a 5 star film !
