A rather weird little film about an empty

A rather weird little film about an empty house and an odd young man and very private billionaire, a minister that enjoys the ladies upstairs in the afternoon and fortune made by business with german evils in the 1930s. Beautiful house. not sure about the point of the film, like many other Poliakoff's work...

Actually really good. Well cast with an interesting storyline and characters. Was amusing the way that Joe, the doorman, just accepted the strange comings and goings at the house where he worked. Sort of a feelgood film.

This movie is laborious to watch, except for

This movie is laborious to watch, except for one part where it becomes Antiques Roadshow, then it's back to total boredom. I didn't care about the plot (whatever that might be) or any of the characters. Nothing that happens is compelling in any way. There's not even any nice scenery to look at. Waste of time.
