@BlairWitchSimpson LOL... I'm just amused every time a new anime movie is uploaded in YTS... sub advocates immediately rejoice "Yes it's in JAPANESE!".. like it's the best thing ever since sliced bread (LOL). While at the same time condemning dub as the worst thing ever (SMH). Why the need for such anyway? Is sub anime really that important for your so called "superiortiy complex"??? How about just "live and let live"?? If one prefers sub then good for them... if one prefers dub then also good for them. It's all preference and subjective... no absolute right or wrong. Just because people like you think Sub is superior doesn't mean everyone else should also agree or it be the ONLY mandatory way to watch anime. There's a thing called FREEDOM OF CHOICE... one should be free to decide in what manner to watch anime... sub or dub. For you it's sub, for me it's mostly dub. Calling dub anime watchers as inferior or imposters is no different from a racist or bigot. While I'm equality guilty with the "sub elitist" name callings, it's people like you who usually start and keep fanning the "Sub is Superior, Dub is Crap" nonsense.
The only medium where dubbing is truly cringe is LIVE ACTION TV shows and movies. It's never a fitting match, I know since where I'm from.... almost every foreign TV shows (Korean shows are really popular now) and movies (Hollywood mostly) airing on TV is TAGALOG dubbed. By comparison, dubbing an ANIMATED movie or TV show (regardless of language) has a more natural transition and feel to it. So yes... call it "inferior" all you want "sub elitist hypocrites", but dubbing is always a thing and will always have it's place in the entertainment business. Not everyone likes reading subtitles and many prefer to listen. That's a plain simple fact of life or are you also gonna mock those with serious eye problems... my dear "superior sub elitists" ???
@BlairWitchSimpson Says the fools who keep mocking dubbed anime saying it's "superior" like it's a "must and mandatory" and calling those who prefer dubbed anime as "inferior" for not liking subtitles. How equally hypocrite can you be? A real anime fan DOESN'T make a big deal about sub vs. dub, but just enjoys anime in either sub or dub. I've been watching anime (sub or dub) for over 20 years, and this sub vs. dub nonsense is just one CHILDISH egotistic warfare. I'm sure MANY of you "sub elitists" require thick inch glasses from reading too much "enlightening" subtitles.
@FreddieNumNums True anime fans can enjoy watching either in Sub or Dub. The fact people like you keep continuing with this "dub is horrible" nonsense is a sign you badly want to score brownie points for a group that thinks like you (sub elitists). Not everyone likes watching in sub okay, and there will always be a demand for English dubs matter what.
