Plot summary

Hungry for an A-list interview that could launch him into the gossip rag stratosphere, Jiminy Glick, a small-time journalist with big aspirations and an even bigger appetite, drags his wife and kids across the country to the star-studded Toronto Film Festival. But in between the nonstop parties and all-you-can-eat buffets, Glick soon finds himself in the middle of an outrageously scandalous mystery that becomes the celebrity scoop of the decade!

OK, I am not only an SCTV fan

OK, I am not only an SCTV fan, but I was also a huge Jiminy Glick fan. And I love this film! Love it! And I am fully aware this film had no mainstream appeal, this was narrowcasting 101. Most of the gags were very inside, especially the Lynch parody angle. If you came into this film with zero background on Short and his background, you were going to be lost. But if you are initiated, brilliant!!

There are funny moments in the interviews, but it's pretty bad otherwise. Very loose attempt at a story, too many juvenile sex jokes.
