The JFK assassination was a nodal point in

The JFK assassination was a nodal point in US history. Oliver Stones's JFK Revisited really explores some of the issues raised in his 1991 JFK film that critics raised with the film and is a very good response. I have little doubt that the CIA was involved in the assassination. The CIA has been instrumental in the overthrow of many democratic governments since it's creation, from Arbenz in Guatemala to Mosaddegh in Iran to Lumumba in the Congo, to De Gaul in France. All these were just in the 1950s and 60s. The Dulles brothers were involved in many of these travesties. The true nature of the US is glimpsed in this film. Democracy is not what the US or the CIA is about. It is about empire and you can see this through many of Oliver Stones films. Stone has done a great service to freedom loving people with these JFK films and his antiwar films. Long live Oliver Stone! Please note, there is a 4 hour series called JFK Revisited Destiny Betrayed that is an expanded version of this 2 hr version.
