it doesn't matter if there is or is not a god. you would not want to live in a country that did not allow you to pursue the question.

I had this for a while before I watched it, and I wasn't really expecting much. Maybe that's why I really loved it. Fantastic movie, up to a point, at least.

I'm 63 and I remember the Jesus Freaks of the 1970's. It was an interesting theology of forgiveness in the face of unaccountability. One of the school yard bullies as my school was a Jesus Freak. I asked him what Jesus would think about him beating kids up and he said, "He forgives me!" and I asked him, "Yeah, but does he have to do it every day?"

@karlpopper, you made me curious. Even I was born, and I live in an ex-communist country, my parents told me that in the 70s before Ceausescu went mad, in Romania was a good life for young people, they knew what hippie was. My late dad listened to Jimi Hendrix, Janice Joplin and stuff.

Seen a review said they didnt see anything of this wonder where they lived. They dont remember The Way. all of the Jesus things around. Everywhere u looked it was there. Either they were blind or living in a cave.

The first IMDB review shown is from someone who says "I don't know what group of people this movie is attempting to document, but I grew up in the 70s and never met a single one of them." One of my best friends was raised by a hippie Christian cult in Northern California, so I know EXACTLY who this movie is documenting! The experience messed my friend up for life in a way he will never fully recover from. Not sure if I'm going to watch this one though.

This is a really good movie documentary with high production value dramatized based on real events. impressive.
