Jenny Slate invites you to rethink what a stand-up routine can be, and I for one am grateful for that. There was nothing stale, predictable, or disappointing about this stand-up documentary. Genuine, hilarious, and unconventional - it does not try to cater to the audience most comedy caters to. I have no doubt that many audience members will dislike Stage Fright for its vulnerability or femininity and, not unlike much of the world, will fail to realize that these are truly its strengths.

I did not find her funny at being

I did not find her funny at being more of laughing at her own jokes then the audience. Being more of courtesy to her show. The Marvelous Misses Massell now she was funny as Jenny no where compares to her.

It was okay … entertaining enough. I think I like her acting better than her stand-up, though.
