There’s definitely an audience for Mimic (2017) among die-hard horror fans, but something about it just didn’t sit right with me. It’s hard to pinpoint exactly where it falters — maybe it’s the off-kilter pacing that never quite finds its rhythm, or the performances that feel just a bit too strained to fully sell the premise. Whatever the reason, I found myself shifting in my seat, more focused on how much time was left than what was happening onscreen.

Adorável quando devora apenas homens, mas no filme a historia é um pouco diferente e o drama da mãe em busca do filho soa melhor que o terror, as crianças atuam com maestria, os asiáticos sabem fazer bons filmes e terror dramático, amamos...

Heartbreaking and evil. More on the creepy side of horror with sprinkled jump scares, and quite somber in tone. I enjoyed the concept in the movie, and I thought it was executed well. There were some less than exciting moments, but that doesn't make a bad movie. The ending was not bad, contrary to other reviews. The ending makes sense given what we understand about Hee-yeon and her pain. The ending is also the most evil section of the movie. Overall, enjoyable movie. Would recommend to someone who enjoys horror in general.
