I dont understand why are there shots with some guy talking but we cant see anybody on the screen could someone explain and who was everyone fighting when the asain woman was scared in the japanese oriented kungfu training ground

This is a great movie. It's fun and funny. It's also a little bit creepy because the plot of the movie revolves around killing a lottery winner.

FYI: Guessing.. Repacked for English subs for one sentence 2 minutes into the film, that's all. There are no other English subs necessary beyond that one sentence at the beginning.

This is actually a decent flick. The primary detractor is the "jackie-mason-like" comedy delivery which Akwafina uses. This COULD have been a hilarious "romp" film if they cast a better comedian in the lead role. This is like casting John Mulhaney as lead character in Happy Gilmore.. just ain't gonna work as well.

Agree with the comment that Cena and Fina do good with the script they are given but the thing I noticed worse than anything were the action sequences, many of them looked repeated, like exactly repeated, Which stands out like a sore thumb to me more than even the lazy script. Lazy action in an action based movie is just lazy. And Why didnt they just have her put ON the damn helmet?!

Awkwafina and John Cena are good but the action sequences are pretty lame and quickly get tiresome. And considering there's no stoppage to them, so does the whole film. It would have definitely worked better as a pure comedy.

If this is a 5.8 out of 10 then Sharknado is a 9 out of 10. The main actress (can I still call them that) is basically doing a standup routine throughout the whole movie so there is no flow whatsoever. Definitely gonna be up for some Razzies next year.
