Plot summary

A father who can't keep his promises dies in a car accident. One year later, he returns as a snowman, who has one final chance to put things right with his son before he is gone forever.

You know I think a big problem here

You know I think a big problem here can be summed alone by the soundtrack which has great songs but isn't good for this film or put together as a whole. It's too sentimental and tugs at the heart strings. I was waiting for Eric Clapton's Tears in Heaven to come on at some point or Unconditional Love to come on and it would'nt have been out of place. It's no really Christmas like at all. The editing and pacing aren't good and everything else is truly mediocre at best. I will say the sI did like the snowman puppet effects looked great and this has some nice lighting in it at the start. It really feels cozy and Christmas like. Outside of that though and once he becomes a Snowman it just feels like it's a combination of stuff just happens and simliar films like Ghost Dad or any movie where the kid and parent hide a secret from the other parent. It just has a feeling in structure of it's just going through the motions not because it's earned but because it's

Childhood hockey nostalgia. Not sure he needs to die and snowman comes in too late. But Cross is good and Preston is world class.
