Plot summary

Two down-on-their-luck loafers take a job babysitting, with a bedtime story of the titular tale turning into a wacky Abbott and Costello-faced musical retelling involving stolen cows, terrible giants, and the heroic boy with an opportunistic butcher in a castle above the clouds.

While not one of the best Abbott and Costello movies it does what it says on the tin. Abbott and Costello doing their own version of the classic fairytale

Not a big big fan of Abbott and

not a big big fan of Abbott and Costello but this one is my favorite! love the songs the comedy and silliness in this film.

One of the two color films that Abbott

One of the two color films that Abbott & Costello made for Warner Brothers in the early 50s (the other color one was "Abbott and Costello Meet Captain Kidd", which -- in my opinion -- is better). This film was really aimed at the kiddie matinee showings of the day as it is really a film aimed at children. The film fell into public domain, so many copies are poorly transferred.
