Plot summary

When Lenore Harker learns that she's pregnant, she leaves graduate school to set up a home with her boyfriend Frank in the country. The happy new family's lives takes a gruesome turn when animals and people end up brutally dead – all with a mysterious connection to their newborn.

I actually saw this one before the original

I actually saw this one before the original, renting it by accident because I thought it was the original. The day I saw it, I couldn't even remember one single frame of it. Rented the original the next day and never forgot it.

Having not seen the original, I cannot compare

Having not seen the original, I cannot compare this remake with it. I hope the original was better. Bijou Phillips underplays her role as the mother of the titular "it" to the point of being almost comatose. There is a bit of blood, but not enough shown of the little tyke for my tastes. Not worth your time.
