Plot summary

Peter has worked all his life at a Manchester bank. When he is awarded an early retirement, he decides to visit his brother in Benidorm, only to discover that he's disappeared.

I kept waiting for something to happen but it never did. Very boring. 2 hours of my life... blar blar blar

I was absolutely amazed at the reviews given

I was absolutely amazed at the reviews given to this film. I think many of the reviewers wanted it to be either a thriller or romantic comedy and it was not intended to be either. It was a very poetic portrayal of a place where one does not expect to find poetry. The two leads were absolutely wonderful, The pace was dreamlike but the dream was not part of anyone’s cliched genre. These two ended up with a unique relationship, which allowed each to be the person they were able to be. I hope time will bring audiences to see that this is a very original film.

If I could give it zero stars, I

If I could give it zero stars, I would. As you might say, there are almost two hours of my life I won't get back. It is a film where absolutely nothing happens every ten minutes or so. Watch at your own risk of dying of boredom.
