I have seen all of the critics complaining

I have seen all of the critics complaining about this or that in the movie, but the bottom line is this: it's a fun movie and a great watch. It's amusing to pick out all of the various cameos of other stars (and directors), but Jeff Goldblum is always fun to watch, and Michelle Pfieffer, as always, lights up the screen. Director John Landis doesn't make bad movies; he knows what he's doing here. While it isn't high art, it's a nice time, with characters you won't forget.
