Plot summary

Irresponsible party girl Maggie is kicked out of her father's and stepmother's home—where she lives for free—and is taken in by her hard-working sister, Philadelphia lawyer Rose. After Maggie's disruptive ways ruin her sister's love life, Rose turns her out as well. But when their grandmother, who they never knew existed, comes into their lives, the sisters face some complicated truths about themselves and their family.

Nunca he visto una película que explica lo

Nunca he visto una película que explica lo complicada que puede ser la relación en entre hermanos tan claramente. Cómo pueden hacerse cosas horribles y, aún así, seguir amándose. La forma en la que ambas hermanas crecen en formas diferentes y procesan el trauma es tan real. La mayor tratando de proteger a la menor, las dos odiándose y amándose con la misma intensidad y la presencia de parientes escondiendo cosas de sus hijas... una familia como la tuya y la mía. Los diálogos son impecables y los sentimientos que evocan son del tipo con el que todos nos identificamos. AMO ESTA PELÍCULA.

I thought it was really a heart felt movie. Good movie, maybe a tad too long. Held my interest.
