Plot summary

A naive monk, named Brother Ambrose, is sent by the abbot on a mission to raise $5,000 in order to save their monastery from closing. He goes to Hollywood where he encounters a number of eccentric characters.

Marty Feldman's last directorial work and although it's

Marty Feldman's last directorial work and although it's a bit uneven it has a fun first act and it's cool seeing Andy Kaufmann as an amoral televangelist and seeing Richard Pryor as God. Without Feldman's affable performance as the monk, Ambrose, this would have sunk easily.

Just like others comedys, In God We Tru$t, is not a really vary good made film, but is a remarkable and funny movie. Fresh.
