VUELVE A INTENTARLO LA ESPERANZA ES LO ÚLTIMO QUE SE PIERDE ¿LO TOMAS O LO DEJAS? ¿TODO ES EN VANO? ¿QUÉ ES SER FELIZ? Estos temas son frases y preguntas que llevo a diario a mis espaldas, las tengo pegadas a mi piel, son lo primero que recuerdo cada día que me levanto de la cama, cada día que me tumbo a dormir, son ellas las que me mantienen con vida pero sin ella. ¿Por qué existe este tipo de películas que tanto me encantan? Joder, tengo tantas preguntas. Saber que la muerte nos espera es tan duro de asimilar y tan fácil de aplicar que no sabes qué elegir. ¿Qué es lo correcto? ¿Morir o seguir una vida llena de vacío? A no ser de que ese vacío aún no lo hayas asimilado, creo que lo he asimilado muy pronto, solo tengo 17 años y desde enero de 2022 todos los días (fines de semana incluidos) apunto en mi agenda de tareas diarias "Ser feliz/ no vacío" y, acabo de revisarlo, solo hubo un día dónde únicamente subrayé "no vacío". Nunca he dado a conocer esta parte de mí, sin embargo, en el exterior mi personalidad es totalmente lo contrario, y no sé porqué. Para que una película sea emotiva, triste o motivadora no tiene que hacerte llorar, tiene que hacerte pensar, reflexionar y que te remueva el estómago, tiene que tocarte en tu interior, también sirve si la recuerdas, o la tomas como ejemplo en tu vida cotidiana. Y esta para mí va a ser una de ellas. El director Paolo Genovese con películas como "Perfectos desconocidos" (la original), "Una historia de amor italiana" o "The place" nos ha traído una historia increíble, una historia con la puedes contar perfectamente cuando tengas un mal día, una mala época. Un mensaje que me transmite felicidad por la vida, ver lo bonito y tener aprecio por estar vivo aunque, no sé sí será por mi pesimismo pero también me ha tocado negativamente, si que suelo tirar por esos caminos, suelo elegir la negatividad, lo malo. Pero la utilizo como reflexión, para no derrumbarme, para volver a intentarlo, para ser feliz, para no dejarlo, para no perder la esperanza e intentar que mi vida no sea en vano. Es el personaje de Toni Servillo el que necesitamos en nuestros peores momentos, para recordarnos todo lo que tenemos, me interesa demasiado, me encantaría saber más sobre él, su pasado. Tenemos también a un chiquillo, un youtuber obligado, alguien que le encanta comer y que por culpa de sus padres le hacen bullying, tenemos a una madre, que su vida se basaba en su hija, y a una chica en silla de ruedas que siempre es la segundona en los campeonatos, se rinde pero vuelve a intentarlo, y al último de ellos, el que más me ha gustado, el que casi me hace llorar, con unas lágrimas llenas de vacío, lo que él es, lo veía todo negro, sin futuro, alguien que ayudaba a los demás a encontrar la felicidad sabiendo que él no la había apenas ni experimentado. Me gustan todos ellos y las interpretaciones son fabulosas, también me interesan, son perfectos y apacibles. Esta brillante obra nos enseña muchas de las cosas que debemos aprovechar en la vida, buscar un sentido en ella, cueste lo que cueste, no sabemos si hay más vidas, tenemos que valorar cada minuto que vivimos. Y tengo claro que lo voy a cumplir. Magnífica y auténtica. RICARDO VALERO, JULIO 2023, ESPAÑA.

“Il primo giorno della mia vita” (The First Day of My Life) offers a unique, emotional look at people on the edge of despair — and what happens when they’re given one more week to see life differently. It’s slow, reflective, but deeply humane. Each character faces a personal rebirth, reminding us that happiness is brief yet worth living for. Painfully Touching

This is an emotional piece of art that touches upon an incredibly difficult topic: suicide.

The story is structured on the fantastic concept that an angel, or an entity coming from nowhere, turns up when the main characters are trying to kill themselves, to save them and give them another chance. After that they are given a whole week in which he tries to convince them to choose life instead.

The personal stories of these characters are painful, human, relatable and the actors (Servillo, Buy, Mastandrea) dig deep inside the psychology of the people they portray. They dig deep inside human feelings.

The beauty of this moving fairytale is that, despite the sadness and the sorrow at the basis of the story, there are amusing moments too and, especially, there is light to be found at the end of tunnel.

Prepare yourself for a rollercoaster of deep emotions!
