I Trapped the Devil" is written and directed

"I Trapped the Devil" is written and directed by Josh Lobo, who makes his directorial debut with this film. And, so much I can say directly, it isn't a good one. For almost the entire runtime we get the focus on only 3 characters. 'Steve' (Scott Poythress), 'Matt' (AJ Bowen) and 'Karen' (Susan Burke). And even though they were not really terrible actors, the performances felt bland and boring nonetheless. There is definitely a problem with the writing here. To describe this movie, you can just say: three people talk to a door. The end. And of course I get what the director was trying to go for. Is it really the devil behind the door? Or has one of the brothers gone mad and it is all his paranoia. And how could you possibly believe it? The problem is just, that this isn't worth a full length feature. As a short film, this might have worked quite well, but sitting there for 82 minutes, getting some blood thrown at the screen for a little change and yet still stare at this door time and time again, doesn't deliver a pleasant movie experience. This might be for you, if you liked the film "Terror Talk", but aside from that I can't really see who else would be into this.

What was it supposed to be like? do

What was it supposed to be like? do they call this horror? After all, it was absolutely no idea, lifeless and the only thing you were One wishes that this boredom should finally end. The only thing holding me back is this movie he watched them what kind of man was hiding behind that door, but unfortunately the end of the film brings great boredom and disappointment. And frankly, I'm glad that this boring, lifeless film ended without any idea and ended my torture with boredom!

Better done with that Twilight Zone episode

Too long, too still, too monotone. These things need to be measured and have a tempo. Questions needed to be asked that these characters don't. How, why, what led him to this conclusion. He explains this to his own satisfaction, but certainly that shouldn't be enough to the others. Unplugged Tv and telephone ringing could have definitely been used as forces of interruption and movement of the main character, but wasn't enough.With the calm dialog and quietness set to create a mood of a possible evil held below or sensitive insanity, there needs to be something that moves us along. It was like walking into a quiet house, having a quiet conversation, having a drink waiting for something to happen in a dimly lit place. Could be much better.
