Plot summary

A man is found floating lifeless in a suburban couple’s pool, and nothing about the story adds up. In separate police interrogations, their conflicting accounts twist and fracture, revealing a Rashomon-like web of deceit, buried desire, and long-denied truths. As the night of the shooting replays from shifting perspectives, a tale of love, loyalty, and betrayal slowly surfaces — darker and more disturbing than anyone wants to admit.

"I Don't Love You Anymore" uses a simple setup — and some clever twists — to reveal characters who are so much more lifelike than what's commonly seen in movies today. I enjoyed following these people, because they dealt with deep and real problems that feel pulled from the world we live in. Rarely will you find a story this authentic and honest, that doesn't pull any punches. I won't give any more away other than to say it's gorgeously photographed — and you should definitely check it out!

A tense, character-driven thriller that makes great use

A tense, character-driven thriller that makes great use of its structure. The shifting interrogations keep you engaged without feeling repetitive, and the performances are uniformly strong. Marcus Henderson brings real emotional depth along with flashes of sharp, unexpected humor. Hope Lauren gives a powerful, unsentimental performance as an ER doctor who happens to use a wheelchair. Henri Esteve delivers a layered and nuanced performance, and Paul McCrane adds a steady, world-weary presence as the interrogator. At 75 minutes, it moves quickly and builds to an ending that genuinely lands. Smart, tense, and darkly wry.

Lots of surprising plot twists! Great cast. Very tight scenes with minimal sets. I recommend this movie - it’s a nail biter.
