Plot summary

Well made and scary at times, the film

Well made and scary at times, the film is just a bit uncomfortable as you find no one to truly root for. It does however achieve what it sets out to do, and is sure to unsettle.

Apasmara: To stop cars from hitting you. Shiva: Yes. It is the mudra we consistently use without thinking when we cross the street and see traffic. We also use it to acknowledge Other. Can this mudra stop Danger or Other? Apasmara: (drops scepter) No. Danger and Other exist. Shiva: Yes, Danger and Other exist, as this was the ride you wanted. You were bored with my peace. Apasmara: Yes. Shiva: This ride doesn't have to be what you've made of it, either. Apasmara: I see. Shiva: Do you? Because some little men have taken on the divine feminine as their name to redefine terror. Why do you think this is? Apasmara: (puts hand up in Abhayamudra) The Devil. Shiva: Yes. (manifests trident) The Devil and her glorious pitchfork! We can create whatever narrative we want regarding the Divine, but I suggest we work with our little men together to redefine our story, hmm?
