Weird how the IMAX version wasn't kept intact for the home media release

Great movie for 'tweens. I suffered through it mainly because I'm a good Household-06, and I was too lazy to prescreen it before the 'rats watched it. That said, the movie it decent, but the name is far from original - first used in a 1972 Japanese Indie film, about a young salary man who spends the entire movie - all 4 seconds of it - attempting to master his premature emissions. SPOILER: He fails...hence the movie only lasting 4 seconds.

Cool CGIs, good storyline. One of the best live-action films I have seen so far.

This is set in a time when dragons were raised like livestock and ridden like horses. Dragon attacks were just another part of life. Now, after the beloved 2010 animated classic, we get an epic live-action remake that’s nothing short of breathtaking. From the very first frame, How to Train Your Dragon (2025) delivers a thrilling mix of action, adventure, and magic. It’s a visual spectacle that brings the world of Berk to life like never before. The flying sequences will make you forget about sports cars dragon-riding is the new Ferrari. The visual effects are incredibly realistic, bringing dragons and their world to life in a way that feels truly immersive. This film transports you straight into the Dragon Age you’ll feel like you’re flying right beside Toothless. Mason Thames delivers a heartfelt performance as Hiccup, while Gerard Butler brings power and depth back to Stoick. The supporting cast is strong, and the chemistry shines throughout. Special mention goes to the cinematography, which is stunning each dragon flight, every wide shot of Berk, and the interplay of light and shadow all add to the immersive experience. Whether you’re a fan of the original or new to the story, this film soars high. A must-watch in cinemas for the full effect.

The only thing I find disturbing is one of the twins being super fat and all about girl power. Otherwise everything else is great.

After watching the movie I must say that I prefer the animated original. This movie is okay but the animation had more charm.

Gerard Butlers has never looked so young as in the photo. DROP THE PHOTOS! You obviously get them ALL wrong.

One of the best live adaptation for me . The dragons are well made with cgi, though some (2) of the characters' acting is bit rough for me to watch. Lastly, don't listen to this haters comments and just watch since you can download it for free.

What can I say. 11/10. I walked in with high expectations and it didn't disappoint. It didn't feel like watching a movie, it felt like being part of a story. I haven't felt that in a while. We gotta address the black vikings tho. They did try to give a reason for it but come on man. Nothing breaks suspension of disbelief like political correctness. If I watch a Japanese movie I expect to see Japanese people doing Japanese things. I don't need a white guy there to relate to, ffs. I just ugh. Would have been perfect. If it weren't for that.
