Plot summary

Fresh off the plane and in need of money, two Finnish backpackers find themselves the latest batch of “fresh meat” sent to work as barmaids at the only pub in a remote Australian mining town.

A film celebrating professional alcoholics doing annoying drunk

A film celebrating professional alcoholics doing annoying drunk things! Zero class in this joint. The bar owner is an monster a__hole – berating the new hires instead of calmly teaching what they need to know. Decent characters are scarce except for the two female bartenders who put up with a lot for nearly zero money. With the owner and town knowing a film was being made here, one would think a few decent representatives would step up and show a better side of Coolgardie. It doesn't happen. 99% of the characters are train wrecks; piss-filled cars, sketchy stalkers, ex-con-vibes, clueless how to treat women, decades old cirrhosis liver how-do-you-still-have-a-liscense unsteadily walking time bombs.

Sad but insightful. What's most surprising is that the men allow themselves to be filmed while acting like complete monsters, taking full advantage of these girls who must stay at this job because they have no money, they are literally trapped and there is zero empathy for them from a single resident of the foul town of Coolgardie.
