Plot summary

It’s a new year at summer horse-riding camp but everything is different this time—a new head counselor, new friends to make, and to spice things up, the ranch hand has a crush on the head riding instructor! When he is too nervous to reveal his feelings, the campers put competition aside and rally together to help him win over her heart while building friendships that will last a lifetime.

Let's get it straight from the get go

Let's get it straight from the get go: I LOVE horses and animals and people that kind of look like them. This movie features all of the above, plus former Oscar winner Al Borland from Home Improvement (where's Randy, Wilson?). I get really, really excited when naked horses are running all free in the fields and the scenes that show this over and over. Sometimes, me wish that all people could morph into horses sometimes except when horse form is just plain impractical, like getting on the subway or building a doll house. Anyway, the movie is sublime. The little girl does some weird stuff, like back-talks Al one time when he's like, "hey, clean up the horse dung." But it's not that bad. In the movie, Al Borland is in love with Susan Seranwrap, but he can't even think of a thing to talk at her! He's shy because of what he did in the Gulf War. But the little girls (some of which resemble horses) help him out. Get this: the title, Horse Camp: A Love Tail, is a total play on a word. It should be A LOVE TALE! But this is okay and is a clever switcharoo.

There is another movie you need to watch first

I personally love this movie there are some parts you can tell was acting and they don't do a very good job . But if you are going to watch this movie you first need to go watch the horse dancer . It goes with this movie and I forgot that and watched them backwards but it's a great movie totally recommend. Some of the quality in some parts where bad but I think that could have been my phone cause i have a older phone. If you have young daughters I would recommend I loved this movie when I was younger and I bet they would to. Unless they pick up attitude because there are some parts of girls being mean but that's all.
