Not remotely as good as Hosking's Ebony & Ivory. This is for people who THINK they want movies beyond the mainstream but are intellectually incapable of understanding them. So they make shallow movies like this to let people think they have brains
Very strange but also very fascinating movie. Look up "Gates of horn and ivory" for somewhat of an explanation of this story. Not a "repeatable" movie (in my opinion) but certainly well-worth watching at least once. The acting and, especially, the color cinematography is nothing short of superb.
Even the trailer is horrible
