This film isn't terrible, but neither is it very good. What stops it from being awful are some engaging performances from the American cast, particularly Heather Graham and Mary Steenburgen. What stops it from being any good is a flimsy non existent plot and a horrendous performance from Colin Firth. Almost to the letter a re enactment of his cameo in Love Actually but with zero charm and zero believability.

I find it amazing that a cast this good, could make a movie this bad. It's a criminal waste of Firth and Driver. How can one make Heather Graham unlikable? I hope the actors were well compensated for adding this dog to their resume. Skip it . Any Hallmark movie will fill the niche better.

With a promising lineup of big names, my expectations were high. Unfortunately, the storyline didn’t quite captivate me and felt a bit too cheesy and silly for my taste.
