Plot summary

This movie is great for aspiring young dancers

This movie is great for aspiring young dancers and teens that are deciding what their dreams are and how to follow them. The story follows a young girl who grows in her aspirations in dance, her relationship with her family, and her empathy with friends. I think this is a great watch for families and people wanting to learn more about the world of dance and what it takes!

First, it’s nice to have a clean, G rated movie for kids that’s sweet, however it was slow, inconsistent and visibly low budget. My kids noticed how Hope kept appearing with, then without, stage make-up on the way to the nutcracker; the acting was slow and poor, and there was no actual dancing, merely graceful arm movements. It was a huge disappointment and sadly boring.
