Your standard issue 80s sports movie (with the motivation rock music during training even). However there are not very many hockey movies compared to other sports. Most of the hockey movies alway seems to be about the goons/enforcers of the game, this one is about a goalie, a female goalie on a men's team for that matter. Besides that it's a very good and very under rated movie. I had to buy the VHS on ebay, this movie is better than most of the hockey movies that are on DVD. Even more surprised to see Rick Moranis in this movie, does a good job in a serious role, too bad he's never had much chances of serious roles.
