A love story, musically remade, reduced to merely grasped conflicting romance by confusing feelings while mainly buoyed by the wonderfully talented cast in this good-spirited picture. (B+)

Though not as iconic as the first adaptation, High Society earns its keep with decent tunes and a superb Grace Kelly.
