Plot summary

Hellboy, his pyrokinetic girlfriend, Liz, and aquatic empath, Abe Sapien, face their biggest battle when an underworld elven prince plans to reclaim Earth for his magical kindred. Tired of living in the shadow of humans, Prince Nuada tries to awaken an ancient force of killing machines, the all-powerful Golden Army, to clear the way for fantasy creatures to roam free. Only Hellboy can stop the dark prince and prevent humanity's annihilation.

As keen as I am for the new

As keen as I am for the new Neil Marshall directed _Hellboy_ reboot, I do still wish we had gotten to see a _Golden Army_ sequel to wrap up Ron Perlman's trilogy. Here director Guillermo del Toro lets loose all bars on his fantasy elements, stacking the movie with elves, trolls, even tooth fairies, making for a less grim, but still very good _Hellboy_ sequel. Not to mention it features personal favourite Luke Goss in what is probably his best role to date. _Final rating:★★★★ - Very strong appeal. A personal favourite._

I am a huge sci-fi fantasy fan and

I am a huge sci-fi fantasy fan and I really loved the first Hellboy but I don't know something was off about this one. Like someone watched Lord of The Rings and thought I can do that! The character development felt weak as well not well thought out like the first one but it was nice to hear a familiar voice after watching Star Trek Discovery!

A pretty good sequel

I was excited when I heard that the first Hellboy film was getting a sequel. And considering Guillermo Del Toro and Ron Perlman were returning, it was guaranteed to be a hit. More supernatural elements, more Abe Sapien, and more weirdness. I don't know how this movie fared at the box office or the critics, but I enjoyed it and I wouldn't mind seeing it again.
