This is totally ridiculous. The cop killer, in the opening scene is slapped by his mother because he overslept! I have not committed many robberies, but the shootout in the beginning looks completely unrealistic. We are in 1951 and the protagonist goes afterwards in a public swimming pool and grabs a woman he never met before to teach her swimming. Then, they go to her house and her family leaves to go to the movies and behind stays their daughter with an unknown man. At the 25 minute mark is time to turn it off. 88% approval on Rotten Tomatoes!!

A good classic Hollywood movie. There was crime

A good classic Hollywood movie. There was crime and romance. I enjoyed the acting. I watched this on the Criterion Channel. It was dramatic and suspenseful.
