A solid documentary on a subsection of horror

A solid documentary on a subsection of horror that doesn't get the attention it deserves. It's always hard to rate documentaries but I do really appreciate the way this depicts haunts of all types including the controversial ones like Mckamey (and how it clearly shows how messed up of a person Russ is.) Haunts are always talked about each Halloween season but the people that put them together and dedicate months of time to them deserve more attention and i'm glad this can shine a light of some insanely talented people and show the good and bad side of the profession.

If you have not watched "Haunters: The Art

If you have not watched "Haunters: The Art of the Scare" you are MISSING. OUT. The documentary offers an in depth, multifaceted, look at the haunt industry. I learned so much about the safety of scare actors, the competition within the fear market, the history of haunts, and what work people have been doing to make our Halloween experiences all the more spooky. I've probably watched this documentary like 5 or 6 times since it came out. This is a MUST WATCH!

I have loved horror movies and haunted houses

I have loved horror movies and haunted houses since I was a kid, but I didn't like this movie AT ALL. I think the McKamey Manor was sick. I don't know why this is so highly rated. I would not recommend it.
