Plot summary

On the verge of depression following the murder of his father, Cory, a nervous, guilt-ridden 12-year-old "altar boy", is coaxed by his adventurous best friend, Ben, to prove their manhood by embarking on their first overnight fishing trip out in the wild on the Mississippi Bayou's Wolf River; but their trip goes awry when the hapless "altar boys" become targets of a mob hit in progress by a cold-blooded assassin who is determined to collect on a gambling debt.

I think it's more of a kids movie

I think it's more of a kids movie with many adults.Ive seen worse and I've seen better.The best part was when the boy who dies, his MOTHER is in bed with ba loose nightgown and you could actually see a part of her areola on what looked to be One Sweet Boob...Also if I'm correct Everything after the boys fell asleep in their makeshift tent....Was a dream!!!

Family friendly

Family friendly movie without a huge budget. Tells a fun story about a couple boys growing up in the south. While it definitely won't win any major awards the movie was enjoyable and told the story well. Folks who understand and appreciate more independent films trying to tell a story without a major budget will appreciate the movie and the story telling. The actors should be proud of the product they put out. Definitely go into the movie with tempered expectations but, if you keep an open mind you might find that you actually enjoy the movie. Hopefully the kids keep acting and grow and learn.
