@Ssnake I think there's no Vanesa's lap dance and that it is one of the few scenes that make a difference.

@hmgrave If I remember correctly (it's been a while), the initial theatrical release of Grindhouse featured both films, but they were each shorter in length, then they were released individually as feature length movies that had longer running times and added scenes.

I grew up with the rents going to the drive-in. They'd show a child friendly movie first, like a disney flick, but no where near as child friendly as disney shows today, wink wink nudge nudge. CoughgroomersCough... Then a more adult type movie afterwards... If you like this drive-in style, the organization called ARCHIVE has many available for free DL.

"The films are joined together by clever faux trailers that recall the '50s exploitation drive-in classics." 70's, not 50's.

Is the lap dance on this copy?

There are "MISSING REELS" which can be found in their original individual copies. I was able to confirm is after seeing Deathproof here which I've seen before in the movie house.

"Director: Eli Roth" ...yeah, sure... for one of the faux trailers in the middle, but not for either movie.

@hmgrave - none except that the movies are back to back (Planet Terror followed by Death Proof) with some pretty funny movie trailers in between.... like Machete but not only. Cheers! :)

@Freeman: Hi, what is the difference with "planet terror" and "death proof" (that are already available here)? KR
