Plot summary

Edie Bouvier Beale and her mother, Edith, two aging, eccentric relatives of Jackie Kennedy Onassis, are the sole inhabitants of a Long Island estate. The women reveal themselves to be misfits with outsized, engaging personalities. Much of the conversation is centered on their pasts, as mother and daughter now rarely leave home.

I've got to thank you excessively Freeman for bringing this film to my attention. I was unaware (for some reason) of this entire true life story as well as the connection to Jackie. I have now in the last four days amassed a small collection of the other films connected to this story. I find this documentary to be utterly genius abeit incredibly sad in many ways. I just want to give a big thanks for this and all the great films you've brought our way!! Much, much appreciated.
