Plot summary

Given the opportunity to headline their own feature film by studio executive Mr. Mordicus, Sonny and Cher have three days to come up with an idea for a hit movie or they'll have to use the studio's hackneyed script.

Ok so some observations: The whole concept of

Ok so some observations: The whole concept of William Friedkin is behind this is just baffling and even more so considering what would follow in the next decade. Sonny is terrible in this and the acting in general just isn't good. Cher feels like she's sleepwalking here. Sanders is alright but isn't given much and everyone else is forgettable at best. The music isn't that good here either. It really doesn't tie in much, isn't that catchy, and nothing really pops despite this being the 60's and lots of colors and all. The direction in general isn't anything special either. The editing and pacing is terrible. There is I'm guessing a 10-15 minute plot here stretched ut with variety show type skits that don't add anything, aren't funny, and are cringe a certain points. It's very clear this is trying to be a movie with a Variety show type structure with Noirs, Westerns, Tarzan, and Musical comedy style and it just doesn't work at all right from the start. And in between it's Sonny & Cher just fighting about making the picture and other pointless stuff. Skip This. It's more of a interesting footnote in movie history as to what came from after this than anything itself.

Four years before their hit variety show.Showacses Sonny as a want to be movie star but Cher's heart wasn't in it.The sketches almost play out like the VAMP segment. The pop songs through out moved the story along.
