Well frankly, it's quite a stupid movie but I love the message which this franchise brings, you have to pay back with extremity if you went down the extreme road. It's not that I'm discouraging anyone from aspiring to become the next godfather, but just be aware of what entails

[THIS REVIEW IS A NOTE BASED PLACEHOLDER] THE GOOD + More of the Y&D stuff you've grown to love + Focuses on Chicken character; spends long durations in Taiwan + Gives good overview of gang mentality and cultural differences between 90's HK and Taipei + Good twist midway through the third act + Well paced, and an easy watch + Intro credits catch first time watchers up to speed THE BAD - Horrible soundtrack, except for one song which is pretty much four bars long - Fight sequences could be better - Missing some of the first film's intensity OVERALL A decent follow up to the first film. Not the best in the series, but worth a watch if you're a Y&D fan, or a fan of gangster films in general.
