Plot summary

Insurance investigator Maindrian Pace and his team lead double-lives as unstoppable car thieves. When a South American drug lord pays Pace to steal 48 cars for him, all but one, a 1973 Ford Mustang, are in the bag. As Pace prepares to rip-off the fastback, codenamed "Eleanor", in Long Beach, he is unaware that his boss has tipped off the police after a business dispute.

This is basically someone saying "I am going

This is basically someone saying "I am going to make a movie just for me". As a movie it is dreadful. As an excuse for someone to crash dozens of cars on camera its brilliant. If this is your niche or kink you will absolutely adore it. If you want your story properly explained or want some characters that feel real or use common sense you better watch the remake because that is at least a movie. I do rewatch this from time to time because I love the blatantness of the filmmaker/driver. It's so unapologetic about what it is and who it is for. Anyone involved in the production who thought they were making a legit movie was fooling themselves. From the voiceover dialogue that explains the "plot" to the unlikableness of the main character you are constantly asking yourself "Why did they do it that way?" My favorite part of the story though is the complete BS they try to sell by not stealing uninsured cars and how the main character is above dealing drugs while nearly killing hundreds.
